ABOUT US
In March 2020, amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, close friends Yeulanda Degala and Rachael Hooker came together to establish the Facebook page "Neighbors Helping Neighbors - Arlington Heights". Serving as a sanctuary during trying times, the group provided solace and aid to countless community members in need, offering a supportive and secure environment.
Driven by a relentless determination to make a difference, Yeulanda established the nonprofit organization, Good Neighbors Network a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2022.
At the heart of Good Neighbors Network lies our unwavering commitment to provide aid to community members who face limited resources. Our approach centers around connecting helpers with those in need and fostering inspiration and empowerment within the community. Through a diverse range of initiatives such as providing school supplies, household goods, scholarships for first-generation students, and maintaining a holiday/birthday gift pantry, we are dedicated to uplifting local families and making a meaningful and positive impact.
